  • Where is Stilio located?
    • Stilio is a nationwide network, meaning photographers and agents across the United States can register on Stilio.com and provide or gain access to real estate photography services.
  • What does it cost a photographer to use Stilio?
    • You are charged a small, per product processing fee when you complete an order through the Stilio network. The per product processing fee varies by product and is dependent on the level of Stilio editing that is ordered. After you complete an order, Stilio will collect payment from the agent and deposit it into your account, minus the Stilio per product processing fee and a 3% credit card processing fee. To view all of the per product fees, you must create an account. All of the processing fees are listed in the “Choose your products” section of the account creation process, and can be revisited with editing your profile.
  • How much does Stilio pay photographers?
    • Stilio does not pay photographers as the photographers are independent photographers that set their own pricing. All photographers are responsible for setting their own pricing and choosing which products they would like to offer. Stilio takes a small, per product processing fee on completed orders. After you complete an order, Stilio will collect payment from the agent and deposit it into your account 48 hours after the products are delivered, minus the Stilio processing fee and a 3% credit card processing fee. To view all of the per product fees, you must create an account. All of the processing fees are listed in the “Choose your products” section of the account creation process, and can be revisited by editing your profile.

    • Can Stilio edit my photos for me?
      • Stilio offers a variety of editing services, including photo editing and video editing. To use Stilio editing, all you have to do is choose to offer the Stilio-edited products when you create your account. All of Stilio’s editing is delivered within 12 hours of receiving the unedited products. To view the full editing specs, click Editing Specs. To view all of the per product fees, you must create an account. All of the processing fees are listed in the “Choose your products” section.
    • Can I edit my own photos and still use Stilio?
      • Yes! You can edit your own photos and still get all the perks of using the Stilio platform. To do this, just choose “Photographer Editing” when you are choosing your product offering during the account creation process. You can add a description about your custom edited photo in “The Basics” section of your profile. When you are done editing photos and ready to deliver them to the client, simply upload them to the order on Stilio.com and Stilio will deliver them to your client after their payment is made. Photos are delivered in both MLS and high resolution file sizes.
    • Can I edit my own videos and still use Stilio?
      • Unfortunately, Stilio does not support custom edited videos at this time. This feature will be coming soon!
    • Do I need to be a real estate photographer to register with Stilio?
      • No, you do not need to have prior real estate photography experience to register with Stilio. During the account creation process, you will need to download the Stilio photography guide. This guide will help you get started with real estate photography. Additionally, the Stilio Photographer Education Blog provides resources to help you continue to hone your real estate photography skills.
    • What kind of equipment do I need to have to register with Stilio?
      • You must have a DSLR at minimum to register on Stilio. You will be able to select your level of photography equipment during registration and you will also be able to list all of your gear which will appear on your profile.
    • What products can I offer through Stilio?
      • Products can be found on the Features page.
    • Can I set my own terms & conditions with Stilio?
      • You can set your own terms & conditions between you and your client. This includes your policies for late cancellations, as well as your photo licensing/copyright terms. Stilio provides a template for you to use if you need assistance. You are responsible to send your clients your terms and conditions for each order.
    • How fast must I respond to new orders?
      • Stilio requires you to respond to all new orders in less than 12 hours. Should you not respond in 12 hours the shoot will be cancelled and your profile will be switched to inactive status. You also run the risk of getting removed from the Stilio platform as responsiveness is very important.
    • Who owns the photos with Stilio?
      • You decide who owns the photos. This is part of the terms & conditions that you set with your client. Regardless of those terms, Stilio makes no claim of ownership over the photos.
    • Can I set my own schedule with Stilio?
      • Yes. During the account creation process, you can set your availability on a weekly calendar. You can revisit your availability settings at any time by editing your profile.
    • Does Stilio do the payment processing?
      • Yes, Stilio processes the payments for all transactions. Agents will automatically be charged prior to receiving the photos to ensure that you get paid for the work you completed. You will get a direct deposit into your bank account 48 hours after products are delivered. The direct deposit will be less the per product processing fee and 3% credit card processing fee.
    • Can I use Stilio editing without having an agent sign up?
      • At this time, Stilio editing is only available when an order is placed through the Stilio network.
    • What are add-on products and when will they be available?
      • Add-on products are products that Stilio creates based on the photos created by the photographer. These are high-demand products that most photographers would like to offer but are unable to do so. Such as virtual staging (digitally inserting furniture in a vacant photo). The agent can order these alongside of the photography order from the photographer and Stilio will deliver them with the photos. At this time this feature is not available to agents but it is coming very soon!
    • How can I let my current clients know about Stilio?
      • You can let your current clients know about Stilio by sending them your url for your profile. You can also encourage them to go to Stilio.com and search for your name.
